Coco was found locally as a stray. Her owners were found, but they could not afford to keep her. Coco is a great dog, she loves long walks, tummy rubs and loves to play ball. Coco’s foster parents said she is a super affectionate girl, who is eager to please, but needs structure and patience. She will do best in a home with a fenced in yard so she can run off some energy.

Bear - Adopted
Poor Bear has been abandoned twice in his 5 1/2 years. When he was a year old, he was left tied up in a house when the college kids that had him went on spring break. Recently, he was left in a kennel for 6 months while his owner, who adopted him 4 1/2 years ago, was going through a divorce. His owner never visited him and never came back for him. After repeated calls to the owner were not returned, he was taken in by Chicago land Dog Rescue where he was originally adopted. He is currently living at the Alex Brooks Midwest Canine Center where he attends doggy day care every day. He gets along with most, but not all, dogs. He is good with children.
