I have been personally working with Alex Brooks and his training staff for the last two years. I began training with Alex when my rescued 2 year old boxer/pit mix began exhibiting both dog and people aggression. After a few sessions with Alex, he informed me to have my dog medically checked out, as he was “just not quite right in the head”. Unfortunately my boy was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma. But there is good news in this story, it is a year later, my boy is still with us and doing well , and with the exceptional training tools Alex was able to give us, we have kept his aggression to a minimum.
I am a firm believer that there are no coincidences in life and my boy’s illness brought me to Midwest Canine Center for bigger things than him. I work with Chicagoland Dog Rescue. We are a no kill shelter that takes in any breed of dog for any reason. Needless to say we have taken in many dogs with major issues both human and dog related. Thanks to the team at Midwest Canine we have been able to place several dogs in their forever homes that otherwise would have been deemed unadoptable. The staff works with the dogs to regain their trust of humans and then when the dog is ready they proceed to obedience and pack position. The people at Midwest Canine are literally life savers.
Thank You Guys,
